Forbidden love Vol .2 story part 3
‘ why does this always happen to me ? why cant I just be a normal person ? I just want to have a small family of mine. Now, I may not even fulfil this small wish of mine. WHY ?’ Felicia is so stressed out now. Her only & simple wish cannot be fulfilled. She doesn’t even know how to answer to adam. She walked along the streets, and did not dare to go home. Time flies, its already 8pm. Adam keeps calling her handphone but to no avail. Adam was afraid that something would happen to Felicia. Just as when he was going out to look for Felicia , she came back. Adam asked anxiously : ‘ Where have you gone ? I am so worried !’ Felicia did not say anything. She kept quiet, walked to the sofa and sat down. Adam’s curiosity urged him to ask : ‘ Felicia, you’re in a bad mood today, because of your checkup report ?’ Felicia at first did not say anything. Her tears then slowly flow down, and she said : ‘ I’m sorry … I .. I couldn’t fulfill your wish, our simple wish. The doctor says my fallopian tube is blocked. But even if I opt for operation, there is only 60% chance. I …’ Adam looked at her and said : ‘ Silly girl, I told you, no matter what has become to you, you will forever be my girl. You will be by my side, forever, and ever.’ Felicia was utterly touched, And she gave Adam a big hug, and crying in his arms.
That night, Felicia fell asleep at about 11 plus. Adam still couldn’t sleep. Although he said he didn’t mind felicia’s problem, there’s still problems. He still hope he can have a child of his OWN, and bring the child up. Another thing is, if his mother found out about felicia’s problem, their marriage is going to have problems. No mater what, Adam still have to obey his mother, under certain circumstances. Adam was so frustrated, that he fell sick the next day. Felicia took leave on that day and took care of him the whole day. Adam’s mother also came that day. While adam is talking to his mother, he said to Felicia : ‘ Can you leave for awhile, I need to have some private talk with my mother.’ Felicia gave him a sweet smile and said : ‘ sure.’ Adam’s mother felt surious and asked : ‘ what is so secretive that your beloved wife cannot join out conversation ?’ Adam looked on his bed, and continued : ‘ Mum, I have something to tell you. I hope you will be mentally prepared ..’ His mother said : ‘ what is it ?’ Adam controlled the tears in his eyes, and said : ‘ Yesterday, Felicia went for the checkup already. The doctor has confirmed that the problem lies with Felicia. Her Fallopian tubes are blocked. She is unable to give birth. Maybe we would choose to adopt. But before we decide on it, we need your opinion.’ His mother was totally FREAKED OUT by the news. ‘ WHAT DID YOU SAY ?! Felicia cannot give birth !?’ Adam anxiously explained : ‘ Mum, we could choose to adopt right ? There’s not much difference. Felicia and I had always hoped for a child. Now that this problem has occurred, we should find ways out, instead of frustrating over the matter.’ Her mother was so angry that she ran out of the room, to the kitch, for Felicia. Adam quickly followed. His mother shouted at her just when she saw her : ‘ FELICIA ONG ! you are really a jinx ! What is the matter with you ! You could not conceive, you should have told us earlier ! why do you choose to tell us after you and adam has married ?’ Adam interrupted : ‘ MUM, stop this !’ Felcia added : ‘ I knew this problem yesterday too. I also don’t want this to happen. Never did I expect that ..’ ‘YOU SHUT UP. Don’t try to act innocent infront of me. You are such a despicable woman. I wont allow Adam to continue this marriage !’ His mother shouted in anger. Adam and Felicia looked at each other , Felicia said : ‘ I will not divorce with Adam, NEVER.’
